St Mary’s Church
St Mary’s Church is a comfortable, safe and
non-threatening place in which local people of all ages
can meet to discover God together.
Sunday Mornings at 10.30am
Our church services are easy to follow:
the hymns are well known,
the prayers are about everyday matters, and
the sermon is helpful and practical.
I invite you to visit and be my guest on
Sunday mornings at 10.30am.
Come and see.
The Sunday School is for children age 4-16 and meets during
the Holy Communion Service at 10.30am on the
1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month during school terms.
Parents are requested to attend church with their children and to be responsible for them while they are on church premises.
We provide a lively bible-based Sunday School led
by experienced teachers.
The session includes a story, prayers and a game.
Teachers do their best to make learning
lots of fun for children.
During the Morning Service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 10.30am I invite children to participate by acting in my storytelling which is an imaginative
retelling of a Bible story.
We welcome enquiries for Baptism.
We have an uncomplicated approach to the service which is often called ‘Christening’ and is free of charge.
St Mary’s Church, in Wimbledon Road, is one
of the gems of the Borough of Wandsworth and is
a very suitable local venue for a Marriage Service.
We have a long aisle, tidy grounds, plenty of space and
a well kept building awaiting couples and their guests.
And we have something wonderful to
share with you, God’s blessing.
Our aims are simply these: to worship God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit in a way that is accessible and understandable;
to discover and enjoy Jesus as our savior, Lord and friend;
and to welcome you.
St Mary’s could be
just the inspiration you are looking for
