We are the Church of England congregation of St Mary's Summerstown, London SW17 in the Diocese of Southwark

We are an evangelical congregation and 
these are our four aims which are similar to
those of many other churches:
1. 
to offer praise and thanksgiving to
God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
2. 
to ask God's forgiveness for the past and
to rededicate our lives to God for the future,
3. 
to present the Christian faith in a way that is
accessible, understandable and helpful, and
4. 
to welcome you into responsible church membership.

Our church services are accessible and
easy to follow:
• the hymns are well known,
• the prayers are about everyday matters
• the sermons are helpful and practical.


St Mary's church is a comfortable, safe and non-threatening place in what can often feel a 
raw and harsh world.
